We don't recommend it. The condo isn't set up for babies or young children. There are sharp edges, small game pieces and uncovered electrical outlets, and the balcony is on the very top floor, where a fall could be deadly. If you're traveling with a baby or young children, we suggest choosing another rental.
There are three ways. You can ski in and ski out: a short walk takes you to Oma's Meadow, a blue run. During ski season, Sugar Mountain Resort's shuttle bus picks guests up at Sugar Top and takes them to and from the resort. Or you can drive down to the resort base yourself.
Free guest parking is next to the guard station. A Sugar Top shuttle takes you from the parking lot up to the building entrance, where the condo, pool and front desk are. When it isn't busy, you may be able to drive to the front entrance first and unload onto the luggage carts. Guests with a disability permit may park at the top if there's space. There's no valet, so please return the carts to the lobby when you're done.
Yes. The elevators are in the lobby, next to the front desk.
From December through March, we strongly recommend all-wheel or four-wheel drive. When the roads up the mountain are covered in snow, the Village of Sugar Mountain can require four-wheel drive and chains to reach Sugar Top. In winter, please bring chains, ready to fit if you need them, and allow extra time.
There's no central air conditioning, but there is a portable air conditioner that vents through a window. You may not need it: the condo is at 5,400 feet, and it rarely gets above 75°F, even on the hottest summer days. It's often 20 to 25 degrees cooler at the top of the mountain than at the bottom.
It's a full kitchen with an electric range, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, full-size refrigerator and blender. There's a pod coffee maker, some coffee and tea to get you started, and cooking basics such as salt, pepper, oil, pots, pans and dishes.
Yes. Every bed has sheets, blankets and pillows, and there are bath towels, hand towels and pool towels. The bathrooms have toiletries and a hair dryer, plus a free personal care kit with toothpaste, a toothbrush and mouthwash in case you forgot yours.
There isn't one in the condo, but there are shared laundry rooms on every odd-numbered floor of the building.
Yes. Guests can use the indoor pool, the hot tubs, the sauna and the fitness room. The building sets the hours, and they can change, so please ask the front desk.
Yes, there's fast WiFi. We send you the network name and password before you arrive.

The day before you arrive, we place a hold of $300 on your card. A hold is not a charge. We release it two days after you check out. If something is damaged, we may keep some or all of it.

The main ones: no parties or events, no smoking or vaping inside or on the balcony, and quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. You'll see the full list, and agree to it, before you book.
It's the same condo, but you book directly with the owner, so there's no service fee. When you pick your dates, the booking card shows how much you save compared with Airbnb and VRBO.
